Location: Marathon, FL (High 81, Low 73)
For the past few days, as we’ve been using the bike trail for a few runs and bike rides, we’ve passed the entrance to a small nature trail. Yesterday we decided it was time to check it out.
You can see on the right side of the board a rough sketch of the nature trail. The markers on the trail itself were a little confusing, just plastic arrows on the ground with no labels, so we ended up missing the little portion which led to the overlook. Guess we’ll just have to go back.
We saw a few interesting sights even though we missed the bay overlook.
Not sure what this sign is referring to, but Harry and I didn’t feel like checking it out.
Once we turned onto the nature trail, we felt like we were in a jungle…
We saw a couple hermit crabs out for a stroll.

We had a great 8 mile walk. It took us just a little less than three hours and then we were ready to take it easy for the rest of the day afterwards.
I'm looking forward to getting out and walking as well. We won't start our jobs until Saturday, so it's time to hit the pavement! Wish we had something nicer to look at it like you guys do!
